The opportunity
Join our Finance team - Core Business Services (CBS) and play a key role in managing EY Greece’s internal payroll operations. This is not a client-facing role—it’s about ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency for our own people. As part of the Payroll team, you will contribute to the smooth execution of monthly payroll processes, social security obligations, and labor law compliance, supporting the backbone of EY’s internal operations.
You’ll collaborate closely with HR and Finance colleagues to deliver timely and precise payroll services for EY employees, leveraging advanced payroll systems and tools. Your key responsibilities
- Data input & processing in payroll software; data export and checking for accuracy, completeness and reasonability compared to data input
- Administration of payroll process and preparation of monthly payroll
- Responsible for monthly social security obligations and submissions of analytical periodical declarations
- Calculation of compensation package for resigned/dismissed employees
- Processing employees’ time and attendance information for working hours/sick leaves/leaves/overtime hours etc.
- Handling of public authorities’ tasks (Ergani platform, Sepenet, etc.)
- Handling of payroll-related inquiries, changes, and updates
- Communication with social security and labor authorities
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent academic background, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- 4-6 years of experience in process payroll calculations
- Experience as user of SCAN HRMS
- Knowledge of labor and social security legislation
- Knowledge and experience to the information system of the Hellenic Ministry of labor (ERGANI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English
- Experience and knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
