Your key responsibilities

 

You are expected to work efficiently in diverse teams, be adaptable, flexible and inclusive, showcasing strong communication skills and teamwork. You are anticipated to manage time effectively, think critically and creatively with the desire to learn and understand new concepts, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

For this role, you are required to:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, translating regulatory requirements and business needs into actionable strategies, policies, methodologies and processes
  • Design comprehensive frameworks related to Fraud, Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and other financial crime topics
  • Analyze regulatory guidance and expectations for risk assessment, due diligence, transaction monitoring, as well as other items in the supervisory agenda for financial crime
  • Engage stakeholders through compelling presentations and discussions, fostering a collaborative environment for idea exchange and consensus building
  • Keep up to date with the latest banking trends and developments

 

 

To qualify for the role you must have

 

  • A bachelor's and master’s degree in areas such as accounting and finance, finance and banking, economics, statistics, mathematics or engineering.
  • Experience (limited or extensive) in the financial services/banking sector regarding any of the following or other relevant areas:
    • Fraud
    • AML
    • KYC
    • Compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Project management skills
  • Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills
  • Travelling availability and potential work on projects abroad
  • Completed military obligations (where applicable)

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A professional qualification related to financial crime (e.g. Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Know-Your-Customer Associate, Certified Fraud Examiner etc.)
