The opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated people, experienced in Non-Financial Risks Management and Regulatory Compliance domains to join our Financial Services Risk Management team of EY Greece Consulting Services, which is the local market leader in Risk Consulting.

Your key responsibilities

For this role, you are required to:

• Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, translating regulatory requirements and business needs into actionable strategies, policies, methodologies and processes
• Analyze regulatory guidance and expectations for non-financial risks management and compliance
• Contribute to the design, operationalization and/or enhancement of operating models, policies, processes and methodologies related to:
  • Non-financial risks, including operational, conduct, model and other emerging non-financial and technology-related risks; and/or
  • Regulatory compliance, including compliance risk assessment, conflicts of interest, market abuse, consumer protection, data privacy, whistleblowing and other relevant regulatory requirements
• Engage stakeholders through compelling presentations and discussions, fostering a collaborative environment for idea exchange and consensus building
• Keep up to date with the latest banking and technological trends and developments
• Leverage AI, data analytics and emerging technologies to solve complex problems, enhance the quality of insights and accelerate delivery.

You are anticipated to manage time effectively, think critically and creatively with the desire to learn and understand new concepts, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's and master’s degree in areas such as economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, finance, data analysis and computer science.
• Experience (limited or extensive) in the financial services/banking sector related to non-financial risks management, operational resilience and/or compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Project management skills
• Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills
• Travelling availability and potential work on projects abroad

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A professional qualification related to risk management and compliance (e.g. Financial Risk Manager, an International Compliance Association certificate, or other similar certification)
