Currently, we are looking for a Resource Manager to join our Athens’ office. Sitting within the EY-Parthenon business, you will act as a strategic advisor to leadership and engagement teams, ensuring the right people are staffed on the right projects at the right time—balancing business needs, client delivery, and individual development.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day staffing across projects, aligning demand with skills and optimizing utilization
- Monitor pipeline, capacity, and demand, while proactively addressing gaps
- Partner with engagement leaders and project managers to ensure effective resource allocation and project delivery
- Work with the Talent team to anticipate hiring needs and support people development priorities
- Balance business needs with individual development to enhance employee experience
- Support planning with data-driven insights on utilization and staffing trends
- Continuously improving staffing processes and tools for efficiency and transparency
Skills and attributes for success
What we look for
- Excellent academic background, including a bachelor’s degree in business administration, or other similar diploma with a strong quantitative focus.
- Strong experience in resource management, operations, consulting, or project management.
- A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Greece and English.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office packages, mainly Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
- Strong team participation skills, particularly teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the interest in professional development of people and ability to coach others.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability of forward thinking through complex situations and finding win/win solutions among stakeholders with differing priorities.
- Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas, while multitasking, working under pressure and operating in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Confident in decision-making and solution oriented.
- Analytical mindset with experience in interpreting and acting on data.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in a Big4 professional services firm and/or a Strategy Consulting firm.
- Experience using ProFinda.
