At Financial Restructuring team, we specialize in distressed M&A, reshaping results, financial restructuring, and stakeholder management, supporting businesses through periods of pressure or fundamental transformation. Our integrated team delivers tailored, pragmatic solutions, built on world-class strategic, operational, and financial insights. Whether it’s preparing a robust Business Plan to ensure a company’s future or navigating complex cross-border special situations, we work at a fast pace with private equity firms, banks, corporates, and investors, supporting them to execute decisions that create long-term value under short-term pressure.
We have ambitious plans, and we are looking for an intellectually curious, commercially sharp, and ready to work in a high-performance team Manager, to join our team in our offices in Athens and work within our Strategy and Execution practice.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager within our team, you will help clients realize their turnaround strategies, evaluate capital options, capture greater transaction value, and achieve strategic objectives - whether they are restructuring a business, dealing with underperformance, or looking to improve cash management. You'll work to thoroughly understand the client’s business, strategic goals, commercial needs and financials, prepare comprehensive financial analysis, support their business strategy going-forward and finally help them to create and preserve long-term value.

- Business and Commercially Driven - working in a fast-paced, exciting environment with strong business acumen to drive value to our clients
- Business Development - drive client pursuits, including presentations and client meetings. Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work
- People Development - coach and mentor team members to support achievement of their career goals
- Building Relationships - strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice, and support to key decision makers
Skills and attributes for success
What we look for
- Excellent academic background, including a bachelor’s degree from a top tier university in Accounting / Finance / Banking / Economics, or any other related field a with a strong quantitative focus
- 6+ years of relevant working experience, ideally in a Corporate Finance department, or Big4 professional services firm
- Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong numerical / analytical ability, with corporate finance and financial accounting knowledge and experience
- Outstanding organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent project management, attention to detail, communication, problem solving, interpersonal and teaming skills
- Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally
- Willingness to learn, proactivity and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas, while working in a multicultural corporate environment
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Working experience in audit and assurance and/or M&A or transactions role
- An active CPA/ACCA/ACA/CFA certification (or in a final stage of completion)
