We have ambitious plans, and we are seeking for a junior professional, highly interested in EU Funding to join our offices in Greece.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the preparation and submission of funding applications for public and private sector clients seeking access to EU, national and other public funding programmes.
• Conduct research and analysis of EU policies, regulatory frameworks, funding programmes and market trends to support client engagements and project development activities.
• Identify, assess and monitor relevant EU and national funding opportunities and incentive schemes aligned with clients’ strategic objectives and investment priorities.
• Support the delivery of training sessions, capacity-building activities and workshops related to EU funding instruments, innovation and investment opportunities.
• Assess technologies, innovation concepts and investment projects against programme objectives, eligibility requirements and market needs.
• Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes and support business growth initiatives.
• Demonstrate professionalism, analytical thinking, adaptability and a commitment to excellence in project delivery and client service.

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

• A Bachelor’s degree in International & European Studies, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting & Finance, or any other field with a strong EU Policies & funding knowledge
• Experience in assisting on the development of application folders for direct EU funding schemes such as Innovation Fund, Connecting Europe Facility, CRM, Horizon Europe, LIFE, Erasmus, Creative Europe, CERV etc

• Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
• Analytical and conceptual thinker with innovative reflexes
• Strong focus and drive to achieve project / program goals and objectives, with a first-time right mentality
• Within client assignments, you are able to:
• Analise complex problems and deliver insightful & practical solutions.
• Think in a structured manner and can communicate adequately to clients
• Able to work both independent and in teams
• Willingness and ability to travel, if required

Ideally, you’ll also have

• A Master’s degree in EU Policies, Engineering, Energy Studies, Environmental Sciences, or any other related field with a strong EU Policies & funding knowledge
• Skills in other than English and French, EU languages

• Working experience in national administration or EU services or industry, related to EU funding

• Working experience in consultancy or project work within national and/or public institutions

• Working experience of EU tendering procedures
• Interest in EU funding, sustainability, energy transition, climate policy, critical raw materials,  innovation or infrastructure development.
