The opportunity
At EY-Parthenon, our unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance delivers real-world value – solutions that work in practice, not just on paper. Benefiting from EY’s full spectrum of services, we’ve reimagined strategic consulting to work in a world of increasing complexity. With deep functional and sector expertise, paired with innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, boards, private equity and governments every step of the way.
Within EY-Parthenon, the Financial Due Diligence team aims to assist clients, both private equity firms and corporate clients, throughout the whole transaction process. Whilst traditional financial due diligence is a key element of the service, transaction support is much broader, incorporating assistance with business plan assessment, including support to the transaction management, negotiation and documentation, and post-completion integration.
We have ambitious plans, and we are looking for intellectually curious, commercially sharp, and ready to work in a high-performance team, financial analysts, to join our team in our offices in Athens.
Your key responsibilities:
- Dive into real financial data by building and preparing databooks and analyses in Excel, including P&L, working capital, net debt and cash flow. You will turn raw numbers into insights that shape deals.
- Process, clean and reconcile financial and operational data provided by clients and targets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support the identification of key trends, profit drivers and quality-of-earnings adjustments, working alongside experienced team members.
- Contribute to the preparation of due diligence reports, exhibits and client presentations.
- Assist in managing information request lists and tracking the data received from targets.
- Carry out financial research and benchmarking to support the engagement teams.
- Your work will directly support the transaction process and play a critical role in helping our clients reach the right investment decisions.
