The Greek EY Strategy & Transactions Services practice is the leader in Greece and South-Eastern Europe in professional financial advisory services market. By participating, you will have the opportunity to participate in a unique global competition and compete with the most brilliant students and young professionals that share the common passion for strategy, transactions and corporate finance on a local and global level.
You will be given the chance to expand your network, change ideas, meet people of different cultures and enhance your knowledge of the strategy, transactions and corporate finance sector.
Throughout the whole procedure you will have the support of EY’s top leaders, who will also coach and mentor you, while providing you with an unparalleled way to take your first steps into your business life.
What to expect
You can show your interest in the competition by submitting your CV and completing the application.
Phase 1: Local Competition
- Complete online assessment tests – both personality and technical
- Virtual interview with EY Greece’s HR team members
- Visit EY Greece’s premises for a physical all-day event, to work on a business case provided by us and present it on a panel of expert judges, under the guidance and mentorship of our experts
- The winner receives prizes, and, among others, a full-time graduate position in the team of her preference within our Strategy and Transactions services team
Phase 2: Global Preparation
The winner will be coached to represent EY Greece on the global event that will take place in fall 2025.
Phase 3: Global Competition
The Greek finalist will be selected to compete on a final stage that will take place in one of the countries around the world where EY operates.
Who can apply
- All undergraduate (3rd year and above students) with Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Statistics or relevant studies
- All MBA and/or post-graduate students with Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Management, Statistics or relevant studies, with no relevant professional working experience
- Strong interest and motivation for strategy, transactions and/or corporate finance field
What we look for
- Excellent written and verbal skills both in Greek and English
- Passion for strategy, transactions and/or corporate finance sector
- Fluency in the use of MS packages, in particular Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Agile, growth-oriented mindset
- Curious and purpose driven
- Analytical thinking, global outlook, innovation focused
- Results oriented, with good communication, adaptability and time management skills, with empathy and team spirit
