Angular Software Engineer

The opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated persons to work as Software Engineers for our IT Consulting, a leading provider of Technology services to large corporate clients of all industries.

 Your key responsibilities   

• You will have a significant technical contribution to large-scale implementation projects
• You will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibility in challenging engagements in Greece and abroad
• Your ability to learn and apply advanced Technology solutions, will give you the opportunity to grow professionally and participate in the design and deployment of leading-edge technologies.

Skills and attributes for success  

• A Bachelor’s degree in one of the fields of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline
• Ability to work as a team member
• Self-motivated to contribute with your own ideas - showcase the feasibility and benefits with a proof of concept and document your cutting edge solution
• Experience in Java or other object-oriented programming language
• Completed military obligations (where applicable)

Ideally, you’ll also  

• Experience in SQL and PL/SQL
• Working experience with at least one RDBMS e.g. Oracle (preferably), SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
• Familiarity with IDE tools e.g. JDeveloper (preferably), Visual Studio etc.
• Knowledge and/or experience with web services (SOAP, JSON/REST)
• Knowledge and/or experience with Oracle ADF
• Knowledge and/or experience with Angular, Ionic or Node.js
• Knowledge and/or experience with source control software (e.g. GIT, SVN, TFS)
• Ability to design and develop solutions with business users (feel free to include relevant project and profile links, like GitHub, Kaggle or Stack Overflow)
• Work experience either in Insurance sector, or in a solution provider environment engaged with Insurance projects implementation
