Our People Advisory Services department is looking for a (Senior) Manager to reinforce their Employment Consulting team.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Provide high-quality services in complex matters in the area of national and international employment law, national and international social security and HR Legal/Comp & Ben matters
  • Manage engagements/projects involving:  
    • domestic and international employment law: all staff-related consulting, such as hiring of staff, individual and collective dismissals, design and review of employment contracts and management agreements, international assignment contracts and company policies
    • domestic and international social security planning and coverage gap analysis
    • comp & ben: HR policy matters development and review, legal aspects of reward projects such as flexible reward schemes, IP compensation, design and implementation of bonus schedules, post-merger harmonization of employment conditions, executive compensation, …
    • social inspections, legal/payroll audits and due diligence procedures in the framework of merger and acquisitions
  • Cooperate closely with our Tax, Reward and HR advisory colleagues
  • Support with the operational and financial management and the strategic development of the team
  • Engage with clients, play an active role in the market and lead/assist in internal projects
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • You have strong language skills (Dutch & English, French is a great asset) and are an excellent communicator 
  • You are an expert in national and international social security and employment law and have experience in connecting this technical knowledge to practical HR Legal/Comp & Ben matters
  • You want to become a trusted business advisor – you get energy from working with clients and you are able to adapt to each client’s business language
  • You are a team player and demonstrate drive and determination
  • You have experience in coaching and developing junior team members
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and think ahead to consider what will be tomorrow’s needs

 

To qualify for the role you must have 

 

  • You have a master degree in Law & preferably an additional degree in Social Law
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in Social Law
