Your new job | About your main responsibilities
At EY, our Global Business Services (GBS) Transformation team helps senior executives redesign how enterprise services create value across functions, geographies, and business units. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, drawing on strategy, transformation, technology, risk, tax, and sector expertise to solve complex enterprise challenges end to end. We help clients define bold GBS ambitions, design future-ready operating models, strengthen governance and performance, and unlock scalable transformation enabled by digital capabilities, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead high-impact GBS transformation engagements, shape client agendas with enterprise and functional leaders, and deliver operating model and service delivery change that improves performance, resilience, control, and enterprise value. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for senior stakeholder influence, strategic account growth, and helping shape EY’s GBS Transformation offering.
Responsibilities
- Lead senior client relationships: Build trusted relationships with enterprise transformation and functional leaders, understand their strategic priorities, and shape GBS transformation agendas that drive performance, agility, resilience, and enterprise value at scale.
- Develop and lead high-performing teams: Lead diverse engagement teams, coach managers and (senior) consultants, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that delivers exceptional client outcomes and supports long-term talent development.
- Shape and deliver GBS transformation programs: Lead complex, multi-workstream engagements spanning GBS strategy, operating model design, service delivery transformation, governance, service management, transition planning, and implementation across multifunction enterprise services.
- Drive digital and intelligent transformation: Help clients identify where automation, AI, workflow technologies, and emerging digital capabilities can redesign services, improve control, strengthen outcomes, and support sustainable adoption with the right governance and oversight—connecting strategy, technology, and transformation execution rather than treating them as separate conversations.
- Accelerate commercial growth: Originate and shape opportunities, lead proposals and client pitches, support go-to-market activity, and strengthen EY’s position in the market through thought leadership, relationship expansion, and measurable client impact.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution
- Typically 8+ years of relevant consulting and industry experience, with a strong track record in multifunction GBS, enterprise service delivery transformation, or large-scale operating model change.
- Deep experience leading GBS transformation work across strategy, design, implementation, transition, operating model optimization, governance, and service management.
- Working knowledge of enabling technologies, including automation, workflow, and AI, and how they improve service delivery, control, and decision-making in enterprise operations.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, service performance measures, and value drivers used to manage and improve GBS organizations.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams in a consulting environment, with the ability to coach managers and consultants and build high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, including account development, opportunity identification, proposal development, and contribution to the consulting sales cycle.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex transformation topics into clear business implications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex engagements and stakeholders, manage budgets and risks, and deliver high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Experience contributing to business development, proposals, and market positioning through distinctive insight and client impact.
- Excellent problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to develop high-quality client-ready outputs.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience working alongside enterprise platforms and transformation technologies such as ServiceNow, Microsoft, or other relevant solutions.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Fluent written and spoken English. Proficiency in Dutch or French or German is a significant advantage.
- An established and relevant professional network is advantageous.
- A focus on a specific industry within GBS is an added advantage.
