The opportunity - What future are you building towards?

The Senior Consultant SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing will play a key role in the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of production planning and execution processes across implementation and rollout programs. The consultant is expected to bring strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration capability, and prior S/4HANA implementation experience, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver high quality solutions. The role also supports our growing focus on SAP S/4HANA in both Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments.

 

Responsibilities

Support the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA manufacturing solutions across Production Planning and Execution, and Quality Management.

  • Analyze manufacturing processes, document requirements and translate them into clear functional designs and system configurations.
  • Configure, test and document SAP PP and QM solutions in line with agreed process and design standards.
  • Facilitate process walkthroughs, fit-to-standard discussions and solution validation sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Support integration between SAP S/4HANA and Manufacturing Execution Systems, including the definition and testing of relevant data and transaction flows.
  • Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical, integration, data and security teams.
  • Develop test scenarios, support system and user acceptance testing, analyze defects and help coordinate resolution.

Job requirements

 

  • Completed Bachelor or Masters education, e.g. Business Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration;
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in industry or consultancy;
  • Hands-on experience in at least one full-lifecycle SAP implementation in the fields of SAP PP/QM
  • Experience facilitating fit-to-standard workshops, process walkthroughs, and solution validation sessions;
  • Experience with data migration, cutover, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing;
  • Solid business process knowledge of production planning, production execution and quality management in discrete manufacturing industries.
  • Proven functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Quality Management, with awareness of SAP Digital Manufacturing or comparable manufacturing execution capabilities;
  • Understanding of MES integration concepts and the interaction between enterprise planning and shop-floor execution is beneficial;
  • Ability to produce clear process documentation, functional specifications, configuration rationale and test evidence;
  • An independent, proactive and flexible working style;
  • Very good analytical and critical-thinking skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is preferred but not mandatory;
  • Willingness to travel (internationally) on a regular basis.

  • Handson experience with the SAP Activate project delivery methodology.

Pre-employment screening
