The opportunity - What future are you building towards?
As an S/4HANA Senior Manager, your primary focus is on driving technology-based business transformations. This includes understanding the requirements and objectives of our clients, ensuring clarity and transparency in communication, hands-on configuration of the S/4/HANA system, and guiding the IT transformation process. You will have extensive contact with clients and, in some situations, also be their point of contact. You are the SAP expert for the client! Finally, there is also the challenge of further developing yourself within the extensive SAP portfolio, closely monitoring developments, and acting on them.

The office
Our office in Amsterdam is located on the Zuidas: a bustling area where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1000 people are welcomed daily. Haven't had breakfast yet? Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Project Management: Overseeing the entire S/4HANA Cloud Public implementation process, from planning to go-live together with a projectmanager or as a workstream responsibility.
- Configuration: Configuring S/4HANA modules (such as Procurement, Sales or Finance) and customizing the system to meet specific business requirements.
- Data Migration: Planning and executing the migration of data from existing systems to S/4HANA based on the Migration Cockpit functionality in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public.
- Integration: Integrating S/4HANA with other business systems and applications through standard API’s and SAP BTP.
- Testing: Implementation of Test Automation functionality in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public.
- Training: Providing training to users on how to use the new S/4HANA Cloud Public system.
- Support: Providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for the S/4HANA Cloud Public system. This might relate to new requirements or deploying new releases.
- Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may arise during implementation or operation.
- Advisory: Providing guidance and recommendations on how to optimize S/4HANA usage and achieve business goals.
Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree, for example in Business Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration.
- SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Expertise: Deep understanding of the system's functionalities and best practices. Minimally certified in one of the key modules such as Procurement, Sales or Finance.
- ERP Implementation Experience: Proven trackrecord of successfully implementing ERP systems, preferably at least two Public Cloud end-to-end.
- Data Migration Skills: Expertise in planning and executing data migration projects through the Migration Cockpit or standard ETL tooling.
- Configuration Skills: Ability to configure S/4HANA modules and adapt the system to specific business needs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in integration technologies (such as SAP BTP), and other relevant technical skills to manage the technical team.
- Overall at least 5 years’ SAP Experience
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve functional and – to a certain extend - technical issues.
- Additionally, you don’t mind traveling regularly (mainly within the Netherlands).

- Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave, in case of an additional birth leave EY will pay 70% of the salary.

- Pension scheme: you will build up a pension capital directly after your start at EY. Each month the available premium amount is transferred for you in an investment account at our pension provider. You will also have the option to build up additional pension capital on a voluntary basis.

Pre-employment screening
Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened. Depending on your rank the pre employment screening could contain the following: Certificate of Conduct (in Dutch: VOG) or - if requesting a Dutch VOG is not possible - Criminal Background Check of the country you are currently living or have lived during the last five years, integrity questionnaire, verification of ID, diploma’s and/or work experience and consultation of the Dutch insolvency registry.
