The opportunity

The colleagues of the Service Excellence team at EY (part of the Supply Chain & Operations department) have a passion to support their clients to sustainably and continuously improve business results. Your work will vary from process improvements and (data) analyses to interviewing people in multiple layers of the organization and providing training and coaching. Your key responsibilities

Service Excellence is the EY name for integrated Continuous Improvement in Service Organizations and back-offices. As part of the Service Excellence team, you make an impact at the customer from day one. You are the expert that leads the client in their journey towards Service Excellence. For example, by preparing and facilitating customer workshops, training and coaching the client into the Service Excellence way of working or performing full organizational analyses to identify and prioritize improvement potential. At the client, you are able to quickly understand the situation and adapt your approach to get to the right decisions, coaching or advice. And as a team member of the Service Excellence team (and the SC&O department), you are proactive and cooperative in bringing our team to the next level and are contributing to the pleasant team atmosphere.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in Consultancy and/or within the field of Operational Excellence / Lean / Continuous Improvement within Services Organizations.
  • A Master's degree with above average grades, preferably in the field of Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, (Industrial) Engineering or similar studies.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, strong communication, change management and people skills, result-driven, the ability to be pragmatic in execution of projects and conceptual thinking.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • You have a passion for Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement in service environments and experience and knowledge regarding project management. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certified is an advantage.
  • Affinity and/or experience with data and IT
  • Affinity with and/or experience in the public sector
  • Fluently speaking a third European language (in addition to Dutch and English) and you are willing to travel
