We are looking for a Manager as part of our Technology Transformation Team. We typically advise clients on defining and implementing their IT strategies, operating models, IT architecture, innovation programs or large technology implementations. In this role, your ideas and input are valued and you will have a lot of freedom to contribute to our and your own success.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Understand all our consulting service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients and be able to build meaningful external relationships with our clients and internal relationships across service lines
  • Lead Technology Consulting engagements, managing team performance and commercials including conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback for all levels of staff and managing engagement billings, and estimates to complete
  • Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
  • Getting involved with industry research, client thought leadership, RFPs and/or client roundtables
  • Plans, directs, and co-ordinates activities to deliver projects from mobilization through to implementation by leading, directing and overseeing medium to large sized teams of project resources working across multiple workstreams
  • Influences and negotiates project outcomes, often across multiple functions. Prepares and presents analysis, insights and recommendations to assist defined governance forums and senior client stakeholders with decision making

 

Our team has worked on many different projects to which you will contribute as well, for example:

  • Support in building an innovation department for a large bank to realize the acceleration of new (digital) product development for their customers
  • Design the IT strategy and implementation roadmap for a global pension administrator and implement Agile Portfolio Management for their Scaled Agile organization
  • Facilitate workshops and training with our EY Agile Center of Excellence on topics such as SAFe, Kanban, Scaled Agile and Scrum
  • Performed a MiFID II and Dodd-Frank (DFA) transaction reporting review for a global bank

 

To qualify for the role you must have

To do this role effectively, we are looking for people with knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • At least 6 years’ experience working in a client facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company in delivery of large-scale complex technical projects or systems integration projects
  • You have experience in sales, RFPs and client relationship building
  • Master's degree with a strong affinity for IT & Business such as Business Information Management, Business and Innovation, Analytics or another study related to these domains
  • Proven knowledge of the Banking-, Insurance- and/or Wealth & Asset Management industry
  • A desire to identify new opportunities and help to create proposals to help solve our client’s most complex
  • Experience of one or more technology areas including but not limited to ERP, CRM. Digital Workplace, CX, Cloud Migration and/or integrations
  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2®/PMP/PMBOK, PSM/CSM/SAFe, or TOGAF/ITIL/COBIT from a recognized third level institution or accreditation body
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Well-articulated interest and vision of digital trends, market developments, and regulatory changes in the financial services industry and how this impacts our clients. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills: written, presentation, and influencing.
