You will be a vital member of the pre deal IT transactions team advising clients across all industries and sectors. You will be focused on supporting transactions from an IT perspective, working both with Private Equity and Corporate clients executing deal mandates. Within the Transaction Strategy & Execution department of EY-Parthenon, we support clients with the development, evaluation and end-to-end execution of their transaction strategy. We deliver IT & operational due diligence, deal management, functional support (e.g. IT, Finance) and value creation advice and support. We advise our clients early to navigate transaction risk and increase value, from deal inception, to execution, and then driving toward longer-term transformation. Our team has experience in a wide range of industries, such as Private Equity, TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom), Financial Services and Energy.

 

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

  • Supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions.
  • Use your passion for IT and sector knowledge to work on IT due diligence projects.
  • Manage projects and day-to-day solve problems together with our team and the client.
  • Be flexible to support on broader Cyber, Technology and Operational transaction work.
  • Take ownership for Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM) to ensure client work is delivered consistently and in compliance with EYP’s quality standards.

 

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?

  • Master’s degree 
  • Minimum 5 years relevant IT M&A experience or Technology consulting experience in a large international company or (strategy) consulting/ professional services.
  • Have a broad knowledge range across IT strategy and governance, data management, cloud technologies and enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to translate IT and technology experience in a transactions environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.

    • Time off: you are entitled to 34 vacation days per year when full-time employed and you have the option to purchase additional days.
    • Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation
    • Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave; in the case of additional birth leave, EY will pay 70% of the salary
    • Pension scheme: you will start building a pension capital immediately upon joining EY. Each month, a premium is allocated to your pension account with our pension provider. You also have the option to voluntarily contribute additional funds to your pension

Recruitment procedure – How can you prepare for a long life together?

Our hiring process consists of several key steps. After reviewing your CV, we will schedule an introductory call to get to know each other better and address practical matters. Next, you'll have the option to have an informal coffee chat with a team member, providing an opportunity to learn more about our organization. An online assessment will be administered to evaluate relevant skills and knowledge. Subsequently, a first interview will assess team fit and personality. If successful, a second interview will involve a case study. Finally, a Partner interview will take place, where you'll have the chance to engage with our leadership. Upon successful completion of the process, we will extend a formal offer to join our team.

 

Due to laws and regulations, and because EY (and in some cases its clients) has high demands on the reliability and integrity of its employees, every new employee will be screened.
