EY’s Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) practice supports clients across different domains: Supply Chain, Procurement, Operational Excellence and Digital Manufacturing.

 

We are seeking a Manager Digital Manufacturing with (international) consulting experience to enhance our SC&O Consulting practice in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). In this role, you will be the driving force behind challenging transformative projects that significantly improve our clients' business performance.

 

The opportunity 

In Digital Manufacturing we help leading companies with optimizing their operational processes by implementing digital solutions. This ranges from introducing shop floor reporting and business intelligence solutions, up till advanced planning and MES implementations. Hereby we always work as a trusted partner with our clients to select the best fitting solutions and get those implemented.

 

Your key responsibilities 

  • Lead and initiate projects within the context of the client programs. You will lead the implementation teams and manage the stakeholders within the client organization. Our activities are always focused on adding value to the customers business.  
  • Build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers. In addition, you will also develop project proposals and provide thought leadership for the domains you’re focused on
  • Play an active role within the SC&O team and be responsible for the development of your team members.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Excellent analytical capabilities that help you to strategize and think conceptually with the communication skills to share your ideas in a convincing way.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and change management skills that allow you to deliver complex transformation projects within set boundaries.
  • A commercial acumen that enables you to identify and develop high-quality relationships, converting them into business opportunities and effectively selling consulting projects for sustained growth.
  • Leadership experience with a people-centric approach, committed to mentoring and developing team members in an international setting.
  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience in Digital Manufacturing consultancy, with a focus on digital transformation, operational excellence, Industry 4.0 and/or industrial automation. This may include international or boutique consulting as well as consulting experience through an in-house consulting or transformation team within a larger organization.
  • A Master's degree in the field of operations management or a technical/engineering discipline, with fluency in English.

 

Ideally, you will also have

 

  • Experience with industrial automation software solutions
  • Experience with data analytics in an industrial context
  • Proficiency in Dutch (or another language)

Recruitment procedure

The selection procedure exists in general out of 3 interview rounds and/or Business case. An (online) assessment an pre-employment screening will also be part of the process.
