We’re looking for a (Senior) Consultant to join our award-winning Transfer Pricing teams in Rotterdam, Amsterdam or Eindhoven.
In our teams you will be a pioneer in a rapidly evolving field where the number of transactions between affiliated parties of a multinational has significantly increased, while international regulations are also evolving. As a result, our clients and tax authorities are increasingly focusing on transfer pricing models and the policies adopted. This is where you can make your impact!
The opportunity - What future are you building towards?
In the dynamic and challenging world of Transfer Pricing, you will play a pivotal role in guiding internationally operating companies through a spectrum of business developments. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting our clients with acquisitions, divestitures, business transformations, financing and day-to-day operations. Your assistance ensures clients optimize their transfer pricing models while maintaining compliance with international tax legislation and market conditions. Your advice will ensure clients maintain fair profit margins and tax burdens, and your hands-on support includes factual investigations (such as conducting functional interviews with key employees to gain a good understanding of the organization), perform transfer pricing analyses and design and prepare transfer pricing policies and documentation and advise on the restructuring of business units (including valuations thereof). Additionally, you will interact with the tax authorities/Ministry of Finance regarding tax audits and the prevention of double taxation, along with other controversy mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Advise on the design and implementation of transfer pricing models.
- Conduct in-depth analyses and develop robust transfer pricing policies and documentation.
- Engage with clients to understand their business developments ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Quantitative and qualitative research, including functional interviews, to understand our client’s organizations in depth.
- Assist our clients in their interactions with the tax authorities (e.g. audits).
- Liaise with competent authorities in various jurisdictions to manage our clients controversy (e.g. multilateral agreement procedures, bilateral advance pricing agreements)
- Work actively together with your colleagues in the international corporate income tax and transaction tax advisory practice, and other (tax) service lines, to provide our clients with the best of EY

Job requirements – Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Master degree, preferably in Tax Law, (tax) Economics, or Finance.
- Experience in the form of work-study or internships are a plus. In case of a senior consultant role: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in an international tax consultancy practice.
- You have a strong command of the Dutch and English language.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic, internationally oriented environment.
- You don't wait around, but you see the work that needs to be done and take immediate action.
- You involve others constructively and clearly communicate what needs to be done and who is responsible for what.
