Your new job | About your main responsibilities

EY-Parthenon Strategy is the global strategy consulting arm of EY, helping clients make critical decisions on growth, transactions, value creation and transformation. We combine deep commercial insight with sector expertise, data-driven analysis and technology capabilities to help corporates, private equity investors and scale-ups solve their most important strategic challenges and translate strategy into tangible impact.

As a senior consultant, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to help shape the future of strategy consulting by working at the frontier of AI-enabled client delivery: using the newest tools, developing new assets and methods, and redefining how we create faster, sharper and more scalable impact for clients.
  • Work with senior client stakeholders to define how AI and technology can create measurable business value, enable growth and improve enterprise performance.
  • Structure ambiguous AI- and technology-related strategic questions, develop hypotheses, conduct analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations for client leadership.
  • Support client projects across AI strategy, digital transformation, technology-enabled growth, operating model design, value case development and adoption planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, technology, data, analytics and sector expertise to translate recommendations into practical implementation actions.
  • Develop high-quality client materials, including market insights, value cases, strategic options, transformation roadmaps and executive presentations.

Your new team | About your colleagues and the office

Your team

You will be part of our AI Strategy & Transformation team in Amsterdam. The team helps executives think strategically about how to leverage AI and technology to create fundamental business change, from defining AI-enabled growth strategies and improving enterprise performance, to enabling more efficient operations and building the capabilities required to scale impact. As a Strategy consultant, you will work in small, high-performing case teams alongside sector experts, data specialists, technologists, designers, agile experts and client team members. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, conducting market and customer research, developing recommendations, preparing client presentations and, where relevant, supporting implementation in collaboration with client teams.

Senior consultants are the backbone of our case teams. You will take ownership of core workstreams, work directly with senior client stakeholders and help translate complex AI and technology topics into clear strategic, commercial, operational and financial implications. You will work across topics such as AI strategy, technology-enabled growth and operating model change.

Your location: Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam office is located at the Zuidas: a bustling area full of companies. In our Cross Towers, we welcome up to 1,500 people every day. For a breathtaking view of the city, head to the 22nd floor. Collaboration takes on a new meaning in our Wavespace, a high-tech environment that connects clients and colleagues virtually across the globe.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, science, technology or another analytical field; technical or technology-related background is a strong advantage.
  • Several years of experience in strategy, commercial analysis, digital transformation, technology strategy, corporate strategy, CDD or value creation, preferably in consulting, start-up, corporate or technology-enabled environments.
  • Demonstrated exposure to technology and AI-related topics such as digital strategy, IT architecture, AI/machine learning or technology-enabled business change.
  • Excellent problem solving, project coordination, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
  • Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment. Dutch language skills are not a prerequisite but are appreciated.
