Your new job | About your main responsibilities

  • Support the EY-Parthenon Strategy and Transactions business on risk management, enablement and service quality matters across the Netherlands (overseeing 300+ professionals), alongside Europe West and UK & Ireland
  • Project Management: lead and/or support the deployment of projects that enable EY’s global strategy (e.g. risk assessment of new technologies, document automation, AI business enablement projects), annual engagement quality audits, annual measurement, rating and feedback discussions of 40 partners and executive directors in accordance with EY’s global Quality and Risk Management Framework
  • Stakeholder Management: advise, manage and engage with internal (first line and second line functions) and external stakeholders (clients, lenders, co-investors, legal advisers and other transaction parties) to ensure commercial solutions, whilst adhering to internal policies, laws and regulations, including independence consultations, conflict resolution and ensuring collaboration and compliance across jurisdictions, e.g.:
    • discussions with EY-Parthenon professionals on the risk assessment of new projects, quality and risk management implications
    • discussions with clients and lenders on deviations from EY’s standard templates
  • Learning and Development: Assist, develop and present training materials on a local and global scale, contributing to the continuous professional development of professionals on quality and risk management matters across all ranks
  • Legal and Client-Facing Documentation (Para-legal Support): Develop, prepare and review remarks on legal and other external documents, including engagement agreements, sub-contracts, non-disclosure agreements, third-party release and reliance documentation, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, firm policy and client requests.

 

As a quality specialist, you will be the contact person for our EY-Parthenon professionals, and you’ll experience (on a daily basis) the dynamic energy of our projects, teams and clients! You will further:

  • Act as the first point of contact for various tool and process related queries for our EY-Parthenon professionals
  • Advise our EY-Parthenon professionals on the use of internal risk systems and processes, as well as on compliance issues
  • Support the design, implementation and review of internal company guidelines
  • Develop and facilitate internal training sessions for our professionals on all levels of seniority, to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements in close coordination with EY's Quality and Risk management executives
  • Work together with international EY-Parthenon QRM teams on global improvements and ad-hoc complex questions
  • Join a cool team, within a global network
  • Have the ability to work flexible working hours and travel, when required / little.

 

Your new team | About your colleagues and the office

You will be directly communicating with the EY-Parthenon team at different levels helping the client facing professionals to solve their challenges on the legal and risk management framework side. You will report to the EY-P QRM Leadership and work under their supervision. You will steer and coordinate the Champions network, leveraging from their day-to-day knowledge.

At the same time, you will be part of the Europe West region QRM team, meaning that you will participate in all-region initiatives, trainings and events.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience such as risk management, transactions, legal compliance or quality management
  • You have a relevant degree and project experience
  • You are able to think analytically and have a strong eye for detail
  • You speak English confidently, a good  command of the Dutch language is considered a plus
  • You’re able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • Result- and solution-oriented in a fast-paced M&A environment
  • You have a commercial approach to quality management and risk mitigation
