Your new job | About your main responsibilities
As a Manager in EY-Parthenon Cyber, you will have an important role in the assessment and execution of Cyber M&A projects across the deal lifecycle. You will gain experience in creating data-backed analysis and insights and manage and mentor others on your team.
- Lead cybersecurity due diligence efforts by combining external outside-in research with internal cybersecurity data provided by Management, delivering actionable insights to support client investment and divestment decisions
- Perform commercial, cybersecurity and technical analysis and translate findings into financial implications, being able to present outcomes to a non-technical audience.
- Develop operating models for cybersecurity organizations within companies, optimizing for effectiveness, risk, and value, at different points of the transaction (Day 1, Day 30, Day 100+)
- Drive the development of complete, error-free deliverables (e.g., data books, reports, non-branded deliverables: blueprints, Day 1 plans, board packs, workshop content etc).
- Support the Engagement Leaders (i.e. Partner, Director or Associate Director) in identifying, scoping, closing opportunities – both in current engagement, and new opportunities.

Our Amsterdam office is located at the Zuidas: a bustling area full of companies. In our Cross Towers, we welcome up to 1,500 people every day. Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution
- Minimum five years of experience with either IT and Cyber M&A consulting, cybersecurity assessments, or related cybersecurity fields e.g., data privacy, security engineer, penetration tester, DevSecOps
- Knowledge and experience of using recognized cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, Cyber Essentials, PCI-DSS as well as cybersecurity & data privacy regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, CRA, DORA etc.
- A high-level understanding of the secure development of applications throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in providing cyber and privacy advice to senior stakeholders; transactions/M&A experience would be advantageous.
- Cyber or privacy certification such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, CIPM, CISA etc.
