This will involve leading on client development initiatives and drawing on the support of the wider team to put forward and oversee high impact change, people and talent solutions.

You thrive in talking to and connecting with HR professionals and senior leaders, offering them the solutions to the most prominent people related challenges. Challenges that are driven by business transformation and where people play a crucial role.

With your experience and network you know exactly which button to press, you’re a true business partner in identifying challenges and developing solutions that help our clients realise their people strategies in the context of transformative times.

What does this mean: How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

You’ll make impact...

By leveraging and growing your network you’ll be the client facing lead in defining the scope of our people solution, setting the initial strategy and making sure your clients are on board in every step of the process. This will include pitching the project to contractual agreement, resourcing and onboarding a strong client team, making ongoing connections with your stakeholders on the progress of the project and keeping a clear focus on the bigger picture.

Internally you’ll become a pivotal member of the Workforce Advisory team. Through your client and internal EY connections you will create growth opportunities professionally and commercially within the team.

You want to inspire others…

Our clients face the complex challenges presented by the fast changing world around them, with changes more disruptive and complex than ever, and employees at the same time expecting more and more from their employers.

You’ll be responsible for inspiring our clients and your colleagues with the people solutions we propose, helping your colleagues to learn and actively encourage new ways of thinking, also in setting Client best practices. This means that alongside our thought leadership and client methodologies you’ll get all the freedom you need to leverage your experience and creativity.

Our team - Do great minds always think alike?

You will be part of the Workforce Advisory team within our People Advisory Services (PAS) practice in the Netherlands. A group of experienced and diverse professionals with great passion and innovation that guide clients on complex people experience and organisation transformation projects.

The team is driven by working together, in collaboration with our clients and our EY colleagues to build a better working world through people.

As a team we believe that change needs to be experienced, not managed. Employee expectations are growing and changing every day and so is the world we live in. Therefore organisations are challenged to be flexible and this requires to take a new approach to transformation.

We provide a new and exciting view on Change Experience and placing Humans at the Center in every transformation. We combine the organisational perspective with a focus on the individual employee and champion a creative and personal approach. With this approach we achieve better results and help organisations to find their way in complex transformations.

You will be both working from the EY Amsterdam office where the team is based and client locations. Though working flexible from your home office or other locations is common practice.

What we are looking for: Where do you start if you want to change the world?

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • An academic background with a minimum of 6 years experience selling people solutions to large enterprises preferably in the transformation area focussed on change management, HR, and talent
  • Experience in winning and account managing large people programs in consulting or service settings
  • A network in the relevant Dutch (Human Resources) market
  • Excellent in both the Dutch and English language (verbally and written)

Besides the minimum requirements as listed above, you are a well-rounded professional who recognises yourself in the following behaviours and experiences:

  •  A unrelenting growth and winning mindset, keen to make an impact
  •  Outgoing, positive and easily able to build strong relationships
  •  Critical analysis of client needs and opportunities, to qualify and determine success factors

  •  Leading, resourcing and setting up winning client teams
  •  Building trusted relationships with clients in order to create successful results and future opportunity
  •  Establishing buy in with important stakeholders to create impactful initiatives
  •  Challenging the status quo and achieving set objectives
  •  Strong resilience, perseverance and drive in the face of set backs
