The opportunity - What future are you building towards? 

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams for some of the biggest and most recognized brands in the world, leading projects to help drive their business performance and digital finance transformation agendas. We are looking for a (Senior) Manager with a strong track record in Finance Transformation who can leverage Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions to deliver outcomes for our clients. The needs of our clients are driven by global trends of financial consolidation, planning and reporting requirements. We help clients establish strong control standards, improve back-office efficiency, and provide insightful business support. We optimize financial planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics processes to deliver insights that drive better decisions and actions. To deliver on these opportunities, we are looking to expand our BC Finance team with an Enterprise Architect for Finance Systems. 

 

Responsibilities – How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world? 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Become part of Business Consulting Finance and work with a young and dynamic team advising the CFO function (C-level management) in the areas of Finance Transformation, Digital Finance, Enterprise Performance Management, and Global Business Services.  

  • As a (Senior) Manager you will be working alongside EY’s senior leadership team in delivering a variety of Finance Transformation work across an organization’s Business Architecture. 

 

Activities include: 

  • Holistically evaluate, recommend and implement finance technology solutions, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), data platforms (Azure, AWS), EPM solutions (SAP Analytics Cloud, Tagetik, OneStream) and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau). 

  • Design scalable, efficient and innovative solutions to support finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. 

  • Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for financial systems. 

  • Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and client expectations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence.  

  • Assist senior management in design workshops by interpreting client business needs into best practice processes and business designs and facilitate key aspects of engagement mobilization. 

  • Share knowledge within the team to encourage collaboration and continuous improvement.  

  • Ability to drive solutions independently. 

  • Continuously update and maintain knowledge on the latest finance technologies and digital finance tools. 

 

Job requirements – Where do you start? 

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, IT, or equivalent. 

  • 5-10 years of experience leading finance transformation projects, with expertise in multiple areas of the Finance Technology Landscape (ERP, Data Platform, EPM, BI) 

  • Sufficient holistic knowledge of the financial technology landscape, including: 

    •    ERP systems: SAP S/4HANA, Oracle
    •    Data platforms: Azure, AWS 
    •    EPM systems: SAP Analytics Cloud, Tagetik, OneStream 

    •    Business Intelligence tools: Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau 

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Performance Management, including financial planning, accounting, consolidation and reporting 

  • Strong affinity with business information management. This includes (high level) understanding of data modelling, data integration, data engineering and data strategies 

  • Ability to be the linking pin between Finance, IT and Business by properly translating business requirements to sustainable IT-solutions 

  • Proven success in team leadership, including coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of (senior) consultants 

  • Knowledge of account management, business development and the consulting sales cycle   

  • Proven ability in managing multiple engagements and stakeholders, surpassing client expectations, handling budgets, and effectively mitigating risks 

  • Extensive experience in leading business development, building networks, identifying opportunities, responding to RFPs, and presenting at events 

  • Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus. 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have 

  • Relevant Professional qualifications are a plus, e.g., CMA/RC, CPA/RA, RE. 

  • Relevant technical business analyst and/or implementation manager certifications (e.g., SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Anaplan, Tagetik, etc.) 

  • Dutch language - full professional proficiency is a plus 

  • A relevant network

Pre-employment screening
