“The role requires deep understanding of financial services operating models, regulatory change, digital transformation trends (e.g., core system migration, payments modernization, digital onboarding), and how these drivers shape transaction value and risks.”
Your key responsibilities
As part of this practice, you will spend your time working on executing operational focused projects across various sectors (specifically financial services) and supporting our client service team in developing and executing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve:
- Conduct operational and technology due diligence across banks, insurers, asset managers, payments providers and FinTechs, assessing risks across IT architecture, cybersecurity, digital channels, customer operations, and regulatory processes.
- Lead integration and separation workstreams related to core banking systems, digital channels, payment rails, customer data, call centers, and regulatory reporting.
- Assess operational resiliency, operational risk, and control environments as part of DD or integration planning.
- Evaluate cost, synergies and value‑creation opportunities in FS (branch rationalization, IT rationalization, shared services design, automation).
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience evaluating core and supporting systems in banking and/or insurance industries, payment platforms, treasury systems, and customer data platforms during transactions.
- Understanding of regulatory landscapes across banking and insurance (e.g., capital adequacy, compliance, AML/KYC, solvency, risk frameworks).
- Experience supporting integrations or carve‑outs involving IT infrastructure, digital channels, cybersecurity, data migration and operating model redesign.”
- Experience assessing or implementing shared services, operations transformation or automation in FS organizations.
