The Opportunity

As a UX Designer in our Digital Engineering practice, you will be responsible for shaping intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for digital products delivered to clients across diverse industries. Working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, you will bring together user research, design strategy, and interaction design to create solutions that are both functional and engaging. This role requires a strong design mindset, collaborative spirit, and attention to detail.

Your Key Responsibilities

• User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Design Strategy: Develop user experience strategies that align with business objectives and user expectations.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
• Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback and iterate on designs accordingly.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field
• 4–6 years of UX/UI design experience, with exposure to enterprise or public-facing digital solutions
• Certification in UX is a plus
• Experience in agile delivery environments

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools
• Ability to conduct and apply user research and usability testing
• Strong command of interaction design, visual hierarchy, and accessibility standards.
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/JS is a bonus)

Domain/Industry Advantage:

• Experience designing solutions for financial services, government platforms, or energy dashboards
• Awareness of user diversity in public sector applications

Soft Skills:

• Strong user empathy and a user-first mindset
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach
• Clear and persuasive communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to iterate quickly and accept feedback constructively
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Remain updated with the latest design trends and UX methodologies.
• Should be able to work on and create user interface design systems

The ideal candidate should have proficiency in design and prototyping tools, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to advocate for the user while balancing business needs.
