The opportunity

The CCaSS team at EY is looking for a Translator to support document translation between English and Arabic. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial statements, proposals, feasibility studies, and other key documents.

Your key responsibilities

As a Translator, you will:

• Translate written documents from English to Arabic and vice versa, maintaining the original meaning, tone, and intent.
• Understand the nature of written and spoken Arabic within the client’s organization.
• Work on specialized content such as Sustainability reports, extracts from annual reports and simliiar content, and other informative document released in public media by government and private entities.
• Use dictionaries and reference materials to ensure precise terminology.
• Review and revise translations for accuracy and consistency.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in English Language or Accounting
• 2–5 years of professional experience in translation from Arabic to English of PR content, annual reports or sustainability reports in GCC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Fluent, business-level English and Arabic speaking and writing skills

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience with a leading consultancy firm or a report design firm
• Formal certification in translation from a recognized authority
