Job description
We are seeking an Instructional Designer with a proven track record in designing innovative, high-impact learning experiences. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of instructional solutions that drive measurable performance outcomes across digital, instructor-led, and blended learning formats.
You are a creative thinker, analytical problem-solver, and detail-oriented project manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You stay up to date with the latest trends in learning design and use technologies such as gamification, data-driven dashboards, and Power BI to continuously improve learner engagement and program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging, learner-centered solutions including eLearning, videos, facilitator guides, microlearning, and job aids
- Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile) and adult learning theory to build effective learning experiences
- Incorporate gamification, storytelling, scenario-based learning, and interactive simulations to enhance engagement
- Build eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, etc.
- Ensure compliance with SCORM/xAPI standards and publish content to LMS platforms
- Use data and analytics to assess learning effectiveness and learner engagement
- Develop and maintain learning dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI or similar platforms
- Conduct needs assessments and performance gap analyses to define measurable learning objectives
- Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and project managers throughout the design and development lifecycle
- Deliver projects under tight timelines while ensuring high attention to detail and content accuracy
- Stay current with learning design innovations, technologies, and market trends
- Provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement and stakeholder reporting
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in instructional design for corporate or professional training
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning, and performance-based learning
- Expertise in SCORM/xAPI, LMS platforms, and digital learning authoring tools
- Proven ability to design and implement gamified and scenario-based learning experiences
- Skilled in video scripting, microlearning design, and multimedia content development
- Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, or similar tools for learning analytics, dashboards, and reporting
- Exceptional project and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- High attention to detail with strong writing, editing, and quality assurance skills
- A strategic and analytical mindset paired with creativity and innovation
- Up to date with trends in LXD, learning technologies, adaptive learning, AI, and digital transformation
