The opportunity

EY is seeking an experienced Financial Due Diligence professional for its leading Transaction Diligence practice in MENA. As a Senior Leader, you will enhance your career through diverse engagements and mentoring, contributing to a better working world for our people, clients, and communities.

Your key responsibilities

As a Director in the Transaction Diligence team, you will lead engagements, advising clients on financial and operational analyses of companies for sale. You will manage project teams, collaborate across EY departments, and guide the review of financial information while understanding key business drivers. Your responsibilities include planning and reviewing deliverables, identifying opportunities for additional services, and fostering a positive learning culture by coaching junior team members. Additionally, you will contribute to team initiatives such as account management and recruitment.

 

Skills and attributes for success

Individuals with strong analytical skills will flourish in this environment, as you will regularly assist in evaluating implications on transaction valuation and structuring and prepare analyses of financial information to assess trends, adjustments, and fluctuations. Good communication skills will also be a key attribute for success within this role as you will be required to assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting or related fields
  • 10-12 years of experience in Financial Due Diligence/Transaction Support advisory
  • Chartered Accountancy, CFA, or similar professional qualification
  • Ability to analyze financial and non-financial information to formulate views and conclusions

 

Ideally, you will also have

  • Transactions/auditing/M&A experience
  • Client facing experience from a professional services or similar environment
