As part of our Enterprise Technology (ET) team, the On-site Technology Support (OSTS) function ensures that our people have the right tools, guidance, and support to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to building a better working world.

We are now seeking an On-site Technology Support Technician (Associate) to join our team in Amman, providing high-level technical support and an outstanding customer experience to EY employees. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience supporting users in a professional environment.

 

The opportunity

 

You will act as a key on-site technology resource, delivering hands-on support across hardware, software, mobile devices, networking and collaboration tools. You will assist with deployments, resolve incidents, manage assets, support office technology needs, and collaborate with regional teams—all while ensuring a seamless user experience for our people.

 

Your key responsibilities

End-user technology support

  • Provide in-person support for complex technical issues, acting as a site or regional resource for OSTS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to firm-standard hardware and software, including laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, printers, and collaboration tools.
  • Deliver advanced troubleshooting for Windows 10, Office 365, Teams, networking, and telecommunications-related issues.
  • Support iOS devices, and Android device configuration and setup.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues, document findings, and share best practices.

Hardware & software deployment

  • Support the installation, configuration, testing, and rollout of hardware and software.
  • Facilitate provisioning and deprovisioning, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with repair, maintenance, and firmware/software upgrades on end-user devices.

Customer experience & communication

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting users on-site to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Communicate system updates, changes, and incident statuses to users as required.
  • Provide guidance and technical advice to EY stakeholders at all levels.

Asset & inventory management

  • Perform asset management activities including procurement, inventory tracking, and distribution of equipment.
  • Coordinate, track, and maintain hardware inventory according to EY policies.
  • Document all issues and activities using ServiceNow.

Site and event technology support

  • Provide remote-hands support for other technology functions (Telecommunications, Hosting, Networking).
  • Support IT needs for office moves, buildouts, relocations, and firm-sponsored meetings or events.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of EY Technology services to best address user needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–3+ years of experience providing end-user IT support in a corporate or professional environment.
  • Technical expertise across PC applications, hardware, utilities, networking, and telecommunications.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10, Office 365, Teams, mobile devices, and enterprise hardware (HP, Canon, Xerox).
  • Ability to work on-site at the EY office and occasionally after-hours for escalations.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Practical experience within a large corporate or multinational environment.
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
