The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager and Technical Lead to join our insurance practice, with a focus on Verisk FAST policy administration platform. In this role, you will lead a medium to large onsite/offshore team, manage client relationships, and oversee the configuration, testing, and implementation of FAST solutions. You will also be responsible for managing project execution, resourcing, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and managerial acumen, with a deep understanding of the Verisk FAST platform and experience in leading large-scale engagements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical expert in insurance domain, providing guidance and oversight on configuration, testing, and implementation. Leverage potential past experiences with policy administration platforms to ensure the highest quality deliverables.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication, timely delivery, and proactive issue resolution.
- Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale engagements, including resourcing, scope management, budgeting, and invoicing. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead a medium to large onsite/offshore team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
- Quality Control: Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet client expectations and industry standards. Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance.
- Business Development: Support business development activities, including proposals, presentations, and client pitches. Identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to the growth of the practice.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of technology, specifically in insurance domain. Prior experience with policy administration platforms like Verisk FAST, including configuration, testing, and implementation. Experience as a FAST Configuration Lead is highly desirable.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage large, complex projects, including resourcing, budgeting, and scope management.
- Client Management: Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage client expectations.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring medium to large teams spanning across both onsite and offshore.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Policy Administration Systems, with a focus on Verisk FAST.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect, with a strong background in FAST configuration and testing.
- 3+ years of experience managing large-scale engagements, including resourcing, budgeting, and client relationship management.
- Experience leading medium to large teams spanning across onsite and offshore.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in policy administration and related processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet client requirements.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Familiarity with other policy administration systems such as FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, or Majesco.
- Experience in business development, including proposal writing and client presentations.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or relevant technical certifications.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $86,600 to $197,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,900 to $224,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
