CBS - Client Technology - Business Analyst (Assistant Director) (Multiple Positions) (1645736), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Alpharetta, GA.
Provide clients with solutions to complex business problems through in-depth analysis, understanding its objectives, define the relevant requirements, and identify design elements to support the application functions. Manage project activities, and their associated resources, to deliver sound business solutions to technical matters in order to increase productivity and profitability. Translate business requirements into functional requirements for multiple projects supporting products used by Auditors to provide Assurance services such as EY’s internal Data Analytics tool and non-functional requirements to ensure that solutions delivered conforms to contracts for various quality parameters including performance, scalability, reliability, security, usability and maintainability. Apply business analysis knowledge to advise and assist on design of optimal workflows and solution for EY’s proprietary Data Analytics tool called the Helix Platform for all phases of business analysis including planning, elaboration, analysis, and validation. Integrate the solution into the business workstreams, which may include the provision of enablement materials and training agenda to facilitate adoption and integration of the product and processes into the business cycle. Apply business analysis knowledge areas and creativity by conducting, directing and leading the exploration and gathering of business intent, opportunities and design options to align to central initiatives and drive requirements work effort ranging from planning, elaboration, analysis, validation to communication through the different stages of the requirements lifecycle. Analyze through systems thinking identifying interdependencies of business and system workflows to optimize business outcomes. Provide broader enterprise reviews of the business value proposition, workflow analysis, impact analysis, and risk analysis. Manage the effort to engage with business and technology partners to clarify application functions, processes and data flow to align business and technology capabilities or constraints.
Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality deliverables by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term internal stakeholder relationships and networks.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 6 years of related work experience.
Must have 6 years of experience in consulting or technology services serving in one or a combination of the following: internal and/or external business analysis role.
Must have 2 years of experience in business case development incorporating broader enterprise view of the business value proposition, workflow analysis, impact analysis, and risk analysis.
Must have 5 years of experience in development and delivery via Agile framework using DevOps and/or enterprise tool involving multiple teams and product releases.
Must have 3 years of experience in the functional architecture of products, product portfolios, and/or solution accelerator.
Must have 1 year of experience in DevOps practices and micro services.
Must have 3 years of experience establishing and facilitating collaborative work sessions among partners, product managers and designers to scope, define and lead requirements.
Must have 3 years of experience analyzing through systems thinking identifying interdependencies of business and system workflows to optimize business outcomes.
Must have 2 years of experience managing a mid-size team of business analysis professionals.
Domestic travel required up to 10% to meet client needs.
