Manager - Private Tax
We are looking for a manager to join Adelaide’s leading tax practice in our Private Tax team. Take your career to the next level, providing a range of tax advisory and compliance services to large privately owned businesses and high net wealth clients.
You will work with an established and exciting client base, across a variety of industries to help shape and enhance their business strategies. You will also enjoy being part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, where you’ll have the freedom to innovate and shape your career through our comprehensive development programs.
Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients including privately owned corporate groups, high net wealth families, trusts, and other privately owned entities
- Oversee financial reporting and tax compliance services
- Work with senior Tax specialists in providing tax advice for our clients
- Advise clients on their key business issues using a wide range of technology in real time
- Contribute to strategic planning for, and the implementation of, family governance frameworks and structures, with particular focus on privately owned business
- Oversee a team of staff and ensure the quality delivery of services.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and existing clients as well as seeking opportunities to leverage work from new clients

- With a passion for tax, you value career long learning and innovation
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Tax experience, preferably gained in a professional services environment in Australia
- Excellent client facing skills with the confidence to lead client meetings and build a network
- You are committed to sharing your experience to develop junior team members
- High level communication and engagement skills, the ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic team
- Ideally, you’ll also have completed CA, CPA or equivalent
