The opportunity


We are looking for a manager to join our employment taxes team within People Advisory Services.

Our integrated team assists clients with developing a “workforce anywhere strategy” while managing challenges related to tax, immigration, travel and regulatory risks for mobile and remote workforce. Our EY professionals ask better questions and work with clients to create holistic, innovative answers that deliver quality results.  


Ideally you will be located in Adealide, however other locations considered. 


Your key responsibilities:

  • Research and provide written advice to clients on all aspects of employment taxes including Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Payroll Taxes, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee and Salary Packaging
  • Review and prepare annual FBT returns
  • Australian tax briefings for expatriate and inpatriates
  • Review of Australian tax returns for assignees
  • Provide specialist employment taxes advice in conjunction with other parts of our business
  • Prepare and present training seminars to both clients and team members


Skills and attributes for success:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Sound Australian employment tax experience in a professional services environment
  • Strong and proven client management skills with the ability to build and develop networks and relationships with both external and internal contacts
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate teams will be highly regarded
