Consultant/Senior Consultant - Tech Consulting - Cybersecurity - GenAI Engineer - Abu Dhabi
Job description
As part of our Cyber Technology Consulting team, you will design, build, and operationalize Generative AI–driven cybersecurity solutions across detection, response, risk, and assurance use cases. You will work closely with clients and internal cyber teams to apply AI responsibly and securely across SOC, offensive security, GRC, and cyber defense functions.
The role involves hands‑on engineering, model integration, security architecture, and advisory leadership—bridging advanced AI capabilities with real‑world cybersecurity challenges across IT, cloud, OT, and hybrid environments.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Generative AI in Cybersecurity Engineer with strong technical depth in both AI/ML systems and cybersecurity domains to join our Cyber Technology Consulting practice. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI innovation and cyber resilience, helping clients adopt AI safely while enhancing their security posture.
Your key responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI–powered cybersecurity solutions, including:
- Writing code for integrating LLMs with cybersecurity data sources such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, CSPM, CI/CD and threat intelligence platforms.
- Architect secure AI pipelines including prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval‑Augmented Generation), model evaluation, fine‑tuning, and guardrails for cyber use cases.
- Develop deployment patterns for AI in cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Produce high‑quality technical documentation and executive‑level outputs translating AI‑driven insights into actionable cyber decisions.
- Manage multiple engagements, ensuring delivery quality, ethical AI use, and alignment with client objectives.
- Stay current with emerging threats in AI security, GenAI misuse, and evolving defensive and offensive AI techniques.
Skills and attributes for success

- Experience translating complex AI outputs into clear, defensible cybersecurity insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Consulting aptitude: structured thinking, stakeholder engagement, and delivery discipline.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Strong understanding of AI risk, ethics, and governance in regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks such as Langchain, Haystack and other Agent frameworks
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
- 2–6 years of experience across cybersecurity engineering, security consulting, AI/ML engineering, or a strong hybrid profile.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience building or integrating AI solutions into security workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with a consulting and client‑facing mindset.
- Ability and willingness to travel, as required.
Grade is decided based on
- years of experience

- Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Hands‑on experience with Generative AI / LLMs, including:
- Prompt engineering and orchestration
- RAG architecture and vector databases
- Model evaluation and safety controls
- Practical exposure to Python and AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain‑style orchestration, ML pipelines, APIs).
- Deep Learning, NLP
