Job Description

Professional support for Japanese companies and Japanese people in Taiwan (audit, tax, registration, legal, reorganization, etc.)
Providing professional support to Japanese companies and Japanese nationals together with EY Taiwan's experts is main work.　
Specifically, the role will involve interfacing between the EY Taiwan's team and Japanese companies or nationals on all support audit, tax, registration, consulting and strategy and transaction including new launch and investment to Taiwan or the liquidation and exit from Taiwan. The role will also include supporting our Taiwanese client who are interested in Japanese market.　
Further Expanding our Japanese business is one of our main works.　
In addition, depending on your career and language skills, you will also provide support to professional teams and directly perform related tasks.

Detailed work is described below, but not limited;
- Solving the issues that happened in our client together with our professional team
- Communication support between the our professional team and the Japanese and/or the Taiwanese company including explaining the details to the Japanese management in the meetings with our clients
- Meeting with professional teams in Japan and other countries
- Preparing documents in Japanese for local Japanese management and/or Japanese companies
- Reviewing Japanese translated documents such as financial statements, and any our deliverables.
- Supporting our marketing or business development activities such as holding seminar, publishing any news or books relating to Taiwanese accounting, taxation, and joining a Japan related event in Taiwan etc.

Job Conditions

Required Qualifications and skills
- CPA Qualifications of Japan, US, Taiwan, other countries, or similar qualifications / skill
- Native or Fluent and Business level Japanese skill
- Business level English skill
- Basic PC skills, especially Microsoft tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Power Point)
- Working collaboratively with others
- Work experiences in an accounting firm or accounting department of a company

Preferred Qualifications and skills
- Chinese language skill
- Has more than 5 years of experience in auditing related work in the Big Four accounting firms or more than 6 years of experience in medium-sized accounting firms
- Has experience in auditing public companies or auditing general company tax certification cases.
